Following her successful international sporting career, Ms Steggall focusses on developing clear communication and appropriate litigation strategies with a particular focus and appreciation for specific individual’s financial and personal reputation factors. Ms Steggall aims to provide a reasonable, practical and cost effective approach to disputes, whether through litigation, mediation, dispute resolution or final hearing. Since commencing practice at the Bar, Zali has practised in a number of areas of law, in particular, Sports Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, and Equity. Since joining Family Law Chambers, Zali predominately practises in Family Law and Sports Law. In addition to her practice at the Bar, Zali is involved in a number of sporting organisations, including: Vice Chair of the Football NSW Appeal Tribunal, member of the National Federations Appeal Tribunal for the Australian Olympic Committee, Director of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA), Director of Sports Australia Hall of Fame, and member of the Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel at the Australian Sports Anti-doping Authority (ASADA).
Married with a modern family of children and step children, Ms Steggall is fully bilingual (French) and enjoys participating in numerous sports.
